Funkey Monkey Mini Club
Funkey Monkey Mini Club was established in 1999 by a number of mini enthusiasts based in North Wiltshire. The aim of our club is to socialise and have fun with the Classic and Original Mini being the focus of our events.
We are the 'World Famous' Funkey Monkey Mini Club as recently described by MiniWorld Magazine, and are best known for using minis to make trailers, including our original BBQ trailer which is used regularly to feed the five thousand at shows we attend! The trailers were designed and built by two of our founder members. They then went on to build the Funkster, our next club project, which changed a normal mini into a soft top (no top!) doorless, shortened car. We have two additional trailers which are used to carry the food, gazebo and comfy chairs to each show we attend. (We don't like to be slumming it!)
We are a friendly club and attend lots of events throughout the year, whether official Mini Shows or days out that we have organised. See events page for more details.
We meet on the first Friday of every month at 8.00 pm we are currently organising a new venue for our meetings for 2010 and will post the details as soon as they are available.
Come along and meet the crew - don't be afraid, we only eat bananas!
